The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- it is possible to insert one plug contact pin, while the other live pin is exposed,- the shutters can be operated by a single pin,- the contact pins of the adaptor can be touched while they are live,- the contact pins of a plug which is inserted into the travel adaptor can be touched, - the adaptor has no provision for earthing and is, therefore, unsuitable for use with appliances of Class I,- the adaptor also accepts Class 0 (zero) plugs; in this case a Class 0 appliance can be used in a place where Class 0 is not allowed, - it is possible to access live parts when the adaptor is plugged in and ready for use,- the UK and USA plugs are live when the Europe plug is used. The product does not comply with the national standard NEN 1020.
