EU Safety Gate · Report-2009-33
SDMO · Backup generator
The product poses a risk of cuts because an opening in the connection casing between the motor and the generator is not closed up and the wheel of the motor is visible through it. Since there is no mechanism to close the opening, if users were to put their finger into the opening accidentally while the motor was running, they could be cut badly or even lose their finger. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 12601.
