The toy poses a chemical risk because the valve contains 14,8 percentage by weight of di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), the yellow plastic foil with printing contains 19,7 percentage by weight of DEHP. The content of phthalates in the toy designed for a child is much higher as the maximum allowed limit of 0,1 % by weight. The product poses a serious risk for a health of a child. This product does not comply with the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
