The product poses a risk of burns because the tube's UV-emission is found to exceed the authorized UV type 3 limits by a factor 2-3 for the shortwave band (maximum permissible 0.15 W/m² for wavelengths from 250 to 320 nm) and more than a factor 1.5 for the longwave band (maximum permissible 0.15 W/m² for wavelengths from 320 to 400 nm).
