Soltron · Glass tube for sunbeds – Soltron efficient tan plus super power

The product poses a risk of burns because the tube's UV-emission is found to exceed the authorized UV type 3 limits by a factor 2-3 for the shortwave band (maximum permissible 0.15 W/m² for wavelengths from 250 to 320 nm) and more than a factor 1.5 for the longwave band (maximum permissible 0.15 W/m² for wavelengths from 320 to 400 nm). Sunbeds equipped with Soltron Efficient Tan Plus super power 100 Watt D-12665-00 and Soltron Efficient Tan turbo power 160 Watt D-12390 and D-12391 should not be considered as UV type 3 sunbeds. The product does not comply with the UV type 3 specifications in the relevant European standard EN 60335.
