Nishica · Mosquito killer lamp - Lampara Mata Mosquitos
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- live parts are accessible,- the voltage of the grid far exceeds 34 volts,- the covers used as additional insulation on the appliance are not properly secured,- the casing on the power cord should be made of polychloroprene,- there is nothing to reduce pulling and twisting forces on the pins and there is nothing to prevent the cable from slipping inside the device when the pins are damaged,- the connections between the terminals are soldered and it is only this soldering that holds the pins in place. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
