The product poses a chemical risk because the quantity of lead and cadmium exceeded the limits for dishes: Measured values Pb - 28,0mg/l and Cd - 0,77mg/l. The limits for dishes are: 4,0 mg Pb/l and 0,3 mg Cd/l. Lead can cause heart and vascular system as well as nervous system diseases. Cadmium is carcinogenic and neurotoxic, can lead to heart and vascular system diseases, harm the liver and causes lack of important trace elements. The risk connected with using dishes with migrating heavy metals is especially dangerous for pregnant women and breast-feeding children. The product does not comply with the framework Regulation on food contact materials (EC) No 1935/2004.
