The products pose a risk of choking because, due to their form, appearance, colour and size, the products may be mistaken for a foodstuff. This may lead children to put the product in their mouths, suck or ingest them. As the small parts may be easily detached, the products pose the risk of choking or perforation or obstruction of the digestive tract. The products do not comply with the Directive 87/357/EEC on products which, appearing to be other than what they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers.
