The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cross-section of the conductors in the supply cord is too small, - live leads are soldered to contact surfaces, - contact surfaces are too weak and already deformed, - there is no contact between the earth lead on the socket and the earth lead on the plug. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant national standard.
