The product poses a chemical risk because the artificial leather contains 23% by weight (limit: 0.1% by weight) of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). With baby shoes, a regular contact of the child with the parts that contain the plasticiser, and even a mouthing contact, is foreseeable. Babies regularly take objects into their mouth and may suck on shoes or textiles.

Basic colour dark blue, with white and blue stripes on toes and around ankles and red heel seam; embroidered decorative red and blue circle motif on the side; lining of white textile material; sole of white textile material with white plastic protrusions; white and dark blue artificial leather strip running around circumference.
