EU Safety Gate · Report-2009-50

Genito · Roller stool - STAR

The product poses a risk of injuries because it tips over easily and unexpectedly during normal use. When the seat height adjustment lever is put in the upper position, the seat becomes detached from the under-frame. The lack of stability and unexpected ejection of the seat pose the risk that the user may fall and suffer injury. Some stools have a locking mechanism on two of the five rollers, which increases further the danger of tipping over. Two accidents reported. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 1335 and with DIN 4550.
