The product poses a risk of burns because the screw of the switch, which extends unprotected into the body of the torch, can damage the outer insulation layer of the battery causing a short circuit which generates heat and leads to melting and burning. One incident reported. The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 62115.
