The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because it is made from material which is not sufficiently resistant to heat and the material may deform resulting in access to live parts. It poses a particular risk for children because it is decorated with child-appealing pictures which might lead a child to manipulate it whilst it is plugged into the socket. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
