EU Safety Gate · Report-2010-52
BMW · Motorcycle
The product poses a risk because the reverse lever bearing on the rear shock strut of the vehicles may become stiff because of corrosion, subsequently causing the reverse lever to crack. If this happens, the vehicle will sink until the rear wheel comes into contact with the mudguard, which could lead to a road accident.
