The distance between the pin plugs of the product and the diameter of the metal elements of the plug are both inadequate, and the product has an input current more than 10% higher than the declared rated current. Consequently, the product consumes more energy than foreseen, leading to the product's overheating. This may increase the risk of fire, and a user could sustain burns when handling the overheated product. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60950-1.
