The floor mat may, under certain conditions, bend, deform and/or detach from the floor, creating a risk of potential interference with the accelerator pedal after acceleration. This could affect the return of the pedal to a neutral position after acceleration, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
