The 12 Volt output from the adapter has the standard 230 Volt IEC connection. The charging 12 Volt port is also the standard 230 Volt IEC type. A user could inadvertently plug a 230 Volt mains cable into the 12 volt charging port. This could lead to a short-circuit and overheating of the battery, causing burns, fire or electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335-1.
