Water ingress can incur around the mains connector. As a result, the casing of the fan can be live if it comes into contact with water, causing the risk of electrocution if touched. It is especially dangerous for children who are near the inflatable product (such as a bouncy castle) and who may inadvertently touch the casing. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standards EN 60529:1992, EN 60335-2-80:2003+A2:2009, EN60335-1/A14:2010 and the relevant national standard.

Product description
The product is a fan used for inflating bouncy castles (and similar products). Affected fans are those with an electrical socket attached to the casing on front of the fan, underneath the blower (later products with a cable lead are not affected).
