The accessible metal parts of the lamp head are separated with only basic insulation from the live parts. If the wire ends should become free and an internal short circuit occurs, the fluorescent lamp may explode causing cuts to users. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60335 and EN 61199.
