EU Safety Gate · Report-2024-2
Mercedes-Benz · Actros, Arocs
Insufficiently tightened screws on the front axle leaf spring attachment may lead to detachment of the leaf spring, causing the vehicle pull to one side (inclined position) while driving. In addition, if the screw on the front bearing block comes loose, it can protrude into the swivelling range of the steering column, which can impair the steering ability of the vehicle, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
