The black shell material of the tape measure inside the tool box has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: 0.078% by weight) and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) (measured values: Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) 4.3 mg/kg and Benzo(e)pyrene (BeP) 2.6 mg/kg). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, it can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may also affect breast-fed or unborn children.PAHs may cause cancer. In addition, the black material of the tool box handle has an excessive concentration of DEHP (measured value: 2.8% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
