The product contains the aromatic amines 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine 3,3'-dichlorobiphenyl-4,4'-ylenediamine and o-toluidine (measured values: 35 mg/kg and 34 mg/kg, respectively). These aromatic amines may cause cancer and dichlorbenzidine is also a skin sensitiser and could trigger allergic reactions. The Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008)1 on requirements and criteria for the safety of tattoos and permanent make-up, recommends that aromatic amines with carcinogenic mutagenic, reprotoxic or sensitising properties should neither be present in tattoos and permanent make-up products nor released from azo-colourants.
