The software in the calculator, used only in after-sales operations and for a limited period (October 2020 to January 2021), was incorrect. This may lead to Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) emissions above the regulatory limits. Excessive NOx emissions pose a risk to the environment. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
