The product has earthing contacts on the sockets and plug but lacks an earthing circuit, and the mains are not properly attached to the product. This can lead to electric shocks. Moreover the product packaging indicates 10 - 16 A but the wiring is to thin, causing the extension lead to overheat when power appliances of more than 2500 W are plugged in. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
