The product has excessive concentrations of methylisothiazolinone (MI) and methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI) (measured values: 0.25 mg/kg and 0.75 mg/kg respectively). MI and MCI are strong sensitisers and can provoke allergic contact dermatitis in sensitised persons. Moreover, the foam of the ink pads tears easily. A small child may put the foam in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-7.
