The plastic material of the product contains an excessive amount of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 0,31% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The plastic also contains short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value up 0.61% per weight).SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation) nor with the REACH Regulation.
