The brake-circuit protection, designed to ensure that the brake pressure is maintained over the intact circuit if one brake circuit fails, is not functioning. If one of the two brake circuits fails, the pressure in the other brake circuit also decreases. In such a case, the service brake may fail completely, increasing the risk of injuries.
