The suction cups contain an excessive amount of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (up to 5.7 % by weight), and of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (up to 13% by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The kinetic energy of the projectiles fired from the toy gun is too high and may lead to injuries. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation and the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
