The gas tank may corrode because the protective paint will not be properly maintained over time. Refueling a corroded gas tank could lead to fuel leaks and increase the risk of explosion. The product does not meet the requirements set out in the Regulation concerning the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
