EU Safety Gate · Report-2020-14

Eternal Ink · Viola - Plum

The product contains nickel and an excessive amount of copper (measured values: 4.3 ppm and 189 ppm, respectively). Nickel can cause skin irritation, induce sensitisation or elicit allergic responses. Copper can cause liver and kidney damage and might affect fertility. The Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008)1 on requirements and criteria for the safety of tattoos and permanent make-up, recommends that the levels of nickel are as low as technically achievable and copper does not exceed 25 ppm.
