The hair dryer does not have a thermal cut-off device. Furthermore, the plastic material of the casing is combustible. As a result, the hair dryer can overheat and catch fire during use, causing burns to the user. The mains cable is not properly protected against pulling and twisting. The insulation and size of the pins of the mains plug are inappropriate, leaving live parts accessible. The user may touch the live parts and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60335.
