The live parts of the plugs are accessible when the plug is fully or partially connected to a socket. It is possible to insert a single pin of the plug into the adaptor. If only one of the pins is inserted into a socket, the user could touch a pin of the other plug and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 23-57.
