Drawstrings with free ends in the hood of the product can become trapped during various activities of a child, leading to strangulation. In addition, the drawstrings are elastic and can snap back in the face or neck of the child, leading to injuries. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 14682.
