The charging circuit of the product has no cut-off switch. The battery can consequently overcharge and overheat which may lead to a fire. Furthermore, the plastic housing of the hoverboard can easily catch fire. The internal electric wiring of the hoverboard is in contact with sharp edges which may damage the isolation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European Standards EN 62133 and EN 60335-1.
