The migration of boron from the toy is too high (measured value up to 1225 mg/kg). Ingestion or contact with an excessive quantity of boron may harm the health of children by damaging their reproductive system. Moreover the migration of cadmium from the toy is too high (measured value up to 1,07 mg/kg) and lead (measured value up to 0,88 mg/kg). Cadmium and lead are harmful to human health because they accumulate in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones, and may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-3.
