The plug of a protection class-I appliance can be inserted into the socket of the extension cord, intended for appliances of protection class-II. A user who connects a class-I device to the extension cord may receive an electric shock. Further, the user could touch accessible live parts and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the IEC standards 60884-1 and 60884-2-7.
