The rate of nickel release is too high (measured value up to: 1.3 µg/cm2/week). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: 2.5% by weight). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
