EU Safety Gate · Report-2021-38
Land Rover · Defender
When the manually adjustable front seats are moved as far forward as possible, for example, when moving the front seats forward rapidly to allow access to the second row seats, the front seat slide end supports may become deformed over time. As a result, the seats could be positioned too far and the driver may not be able to touch the pedals, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
