Improperly tightened diesel particulate filter mounting frame fittings may lead to loosening or detachment of the fittings, which will cause stress to the exhaust joints and, over time, increase the possibility of unmeasured exhaust gas leaks. In the event of an exhaust leak, hot exhaust gases can leak under the vehicle or under the engine compartment, which can damage engine components increasing the risk of a fire. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
