Due to incorrect programming, the electronic control unit (ECU) of the hybrid vehicle may incorrectly determine the position of the transmission selector lever which could cause the hybrid system to shut down. This could result in a loss of power, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
