EU Safety Gate · Report-2024-28
Lexus and Toyota · Mutiple models
Camera cases on vehicles may come apart under stress due to improper welding, allowing water ingress and potential short-circuiting. This could result in the loss of front or rear camera imagery, increasing the risk of accident and injuries for users relying solely on these cameras to check their surroundings. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
