The condensation drainage ducts on the air-conditioning housing were not punched through, this prevents condensation from flowing through the condensation duct as intended, thus allowing it to enter the vehicle’s interior. Condensation could enter the airbag control unit and lead to a malfunction, such as its accidental triggering. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
