The product contains excessive amounts of individual polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) (measured values; acenaphthylene: 2.0 mg/kg, fluoranthene: 0.8 mg/kg, naphthalene: 1.4 mg/kg, pyren: 7.7 mg/kg and benzo[a]pyrene 40 ppb). Some PAHs are carcinogenic. Benzo(a)pyrene is a carcinogenic PAH. Naphthalene is a carcinogenic substance for which a safe level cannot be established. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
