The gas generator in knee airbag modules was not properly inserted into the air cushion, resulting in the cushion failing to unfold sufficiently. As a result, it may not be able to deploy correctly in the event of an accident, leading to a reduction in the restraint effect, increasing the risk of injury to the occupants. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
