The power output is excessive and the battery is not sufficiently protected. This increases the risk of ignition in explosive atmospheres. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive relating to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmosphere (ATEX) nor with the European standard EN 60079-11.
