EU Safety Gate · Report-2024-37
Lighting chain
The power cord and LED lights lack a secure fixing device, leaving the garland vulnerable to twisting. Furthermore, the power cord can break easily, causing the LED wire snapped immediately. The LED power cord's cross-sectional area is at least 0.024 mm². Additionally, the cable between the fork and the first lamp, or the length of the first lamp socket, falls short of the required 1.5 m, measuring at least 0.63 m. The electrical insulation is inadequate. As a result, the user can receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60598.
