A production defect can cause the park-and-shunt valve with emergency braking function to release the trailer’s brakes by itself. This can lead to a loss of control over the trailer and increase the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
