EU Safety Gate · Report-2019-008

Unknown · CRYSTAL MUD

Due to the container's characteristic form, appearance and size, this product may be mistaken for a foodstuff. This may lead consumers, and specially children, to put them in the mouth and ingest its content. The migration of boron from the toy slime is too high (measured value: up to 1461 mg/kg). Ingestion or contact with an excessive quantity of boron may harm the health of children by damaging their reproductive system. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Food Imitating Products Directive, the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-3.
