The lamp does not have a transformer or converter. A child could touch the metal parts under high voltage and receive an electric shock. The lamp bulb is easily accessible and touching it when is hot it may cause burns. The lamp is not sufficiently stable and does not have sufficient mechanical strength. It can be easily broken exposing users to small pieces. As a consequence, this might lead to risk of cuts and choking. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
