The front passenger airbag inflators could have been assembled with improperly manufactured propellant wafers which could cause the inflator to rupture and the front passenger airbag to deploy abnormally in the event of a crash. This situation could increase the risk of injury to the occupant or lead to a fire in the interior compartment.
